Vacancy for Audit Client Manager

Reporting to: Corporate Manager

Based: Shrewsbury

                                                                                                                                                                     

Key Focus:

To manage and develop the audit function to ensure that client audit work (and related administration) for which he/she is responsible are produced in a cost effective, timely and efficient manner to the standard required by the firm and external assessors.

Key activities for the role will include:

  • Acting as on-site Manager for selected individual audits as identified and taking responsibility for all aspects of these.
  • Defining staff resources for all client audits and ensuring adequate staff are planned, available and briefed, in order to deliver the audit programme.
  • Being responsible for a client audit portfolio and actively liaise to ensure internal and external deadlines are adhered to, processing all work from review to billing and assisting with invoicing.
  • Leading by example and actively promoting first class customer service for all client, supplier and external body relationships.
  • Ensuring he/she is kept up to date on technical matters and communicating to the rest of the firm any important changes in procedures, standards and legislative matters with respect to audits.

Ideal candidate must be ACA/ACCA qualified and have demonstrated capability in a similar role.
