Hollie went on to complete her AAT Level 2 studies and joined Dyke Yaxley in 2015 to assist the Accounts Department.  Hollie has since completed her AAT Level 3 and moved to the Accounting Solutions Department to expand her experience within the firm.

Hollie’s responsibilities include: Providing bookkeeping services in house and also out at clients premises, using Excel, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks which includes purchase and sales inputting, sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, petty cash, month end journal postings, management accounts, budgets and also preparation of VAT returns on a monthly/quarterly basis.

As a certified Xero Adviser, she also assists with anything xero related - training, demos and queries.

Hollie outside of work

Hollie’s favourite hobbies include: Walking in the countryside, mountain biking, spending time with her older sister.

Hollie’s biggest inspiration is her dad, who wakes up at 5am every day with a smile on his face. Hollie says he has taught her to always be positive.

If Hollie wasn’t working at Dyke Yaxley, she would enjoy a career in Law or Psychology.

Hollie’s favourite holiday destination is camping anywhere by the coast!

Hollie’s considers going from managing a portfolio of around 5 clients to 35-40 clients in just over a year, whilst studying towards her professional exams and being one of the youngest employees at DY as her greatest achievements.
