Professional background:

Sophie joined Dyke Yaxley as a Trainee Accounts Clerk in 2007 whilst she was completing her final level of AAT, gaining a wealth of experience in all departments of the firm.

Sophie completed her exams and became a fully qualified Chartered Accountant in 2013 and was soon promoted to her current role as Trainee Client Manager.

Sophie particularly enjoys the variety of work she is involved in and the new challenges she’s faced with, and describes these as the best part of working at Dyke Yaxley.

Responsibilities:

Sophie is responsible for drafting accounts and tax returns and providing bookkeeping services to a range of sole traders and partnerships.

Sophie also works with clients to offer them support and training on the accountancy software programme, Xero. 

Sophie outside of work

Sophie’s favourite hobbies include: Socialising with her friends and family and going to the gym.

Sophie also enjoys taking camping/caravanning trips to the coast.
