Salary

We offer competitive salaries based on role, experience, and qualifications, aligned with industry benchmarks. Salaries are reviewed annually to recognise performance and career progression.

Holidays

All employees start with 30 days of annual leave, including Bank Holidays. Your entitlement increases by 1 day every 2 years of service, up to a maximum of 34 days per year.

Pensions

All employees are automatically enrolled in our pension scheme after three months. The company contributes 4% (via salary sacrifice unless otherwise requested), and employees contribute 5%.

Health Cash Plan

Employees have access to the Westfield Mosaic Health Cash Plan, which lets them claim back costs for a wide range of medical care, including optical and dental, therapy treatments, chiropody, homeopathy, maternity, paternity, adoption support, day surgery, and more.

Hybrid & Flexible Working

We support flexible and homeworking arrangements where appropriate, helping our employees achieve a healthy work-life balance.

Bonus Schemes

We encourage employees to promote the company to friends, family, associates, or business contacts. We also have a non-contractual, discretionary bonus scheme, which is linked to the company achieving its annual performance targets.

Training & Development

We are committed to developing our employees’ skills. Trainees and new team members have a clear training pathway and a fully funded programme to support their career progression.

Affiliation Fees

Once qualified, DY covers all annual affiliation fees for relevant professional bodies, including AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA, and other applicable qualifications.

Death in Service

All employees are eligible from day one. In the event of an employee’s death during employment, the scheme pays two times their annual salary.​

Cycle to Work Scheme

DY participates in the Cycle to Work Scheme, promoting healthier journeys and reducing environmental impact. Employees can hire cycles and safety equipment tax-free.

Child Care Nursery Voucher

DY supports the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme, which provides up to £2,000 per child (or £4,000 for children with a disability) toward childcare costs, including nurseries, childminders, and wraparound care.​

Long Service Awards & Milestones

We’re proud of employees who dedicate many years to DY. To show our appreciation, we recognise milestones such as 25, 30, and 40 years of service, retirements, and significant birthdays, including 18, 21, 30, 40, 50, and 60.

Fruit & beverages

All employees have access to free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, and sugar. We also provide a weekly seasonal delivery of fresh fruit in the staff canteen.

Car Parking

DY can arrange an annual car parking pass for employees through an approved provider, with the cost deducted monthly via salary sacrifice.

CSR

At DY, we take our responsibility to employees, the environment, and the local community seriously. We regularly support initiatives and fundraisers for our nominated charities and get involved in community projects.
