Social responsibility at DY
At DY, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is at the heart of everything we do. We recognise that our actions impact society, and we are committed to being responsible corporate citizens. Each year, we review and strengthen our approach to diversity, inclusion, and equality while continuing to reduce our environmental impact. We also support our employees not just as members of DY, but as individuals who want to make a difference.

Our achievements
- A carbon offsetting programme has been introduced, alongside a recycling centre and a partnership with the local council to improve sustainability
- Diversity is actively celebrated, with wider recruitment outreach helping to build a more inclusive workforce
- Mental health first aiders have been trained to support employee mental and emotional wellbeing
- Staff are encouraged and supported to take part in volunteering, creating a positive impact in the local community

Dyke Yaxley supports local cancer charity Lingen Davies
Dyke Yaxley is proud to support Lingen Davies Cancer Support, a local charity with close ties to our firm. Our team will be taking part in fundraising activities to help the charity expand vital cancer services across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales.
Making a difference
Between 1 May 2024 and 30 April 2025, we raised £2,184.46 for Shropshire Wildlife Trust. This support will help them continue their vital work protecting wildlife, restoring habitats, and inspiring communities across Shropshire.
