Corporate Senior

 

We have a vacancy within our Corporate Department for a Corporate Senior.

Reporting to the Corporate Manager, the role is  based at our Shrewsbury office
(SY3 7FA) with the ability and flexibility to work from home when required and agreed.

The role is full time consisting of working 37.5 hours per week.


Salary will be based on background and experience with a supporting compensation benefits package.

Candidate profile:

    • ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified with full study support available if required
    • Demonstrated capability in working at the same level for a minimum of three years
    • Has prepared and produced accounts for SME’s and Limited Companies within a practice environment
    • Ability to manage your own time, work methodically, work to instruction and work to tight deadlines
    • Flexible and versatile in a fast moving environment
    • Live within easy commuting distance of our Shrewsbury office and have your own transport
    • Willing to learn and develop
    • Allied to the obvious technical requirements, you must have excellent client facing and communication skills

The Role:

    • Ensure work and year-end accounts and tax computations are completed within agreed deadlines for presentation to the Client Manager
    • Work to company procedures and KPI’s ensuring files are completed to the highest of standards for Client Manager review
    • Be the second point of contact for clients, clearing and answering queries as required
    • Assist with the training and development of trainees
    • Take on extra responsibility as directed in preparation for the next role
    • Ensure own skills and knowledge are developed, identifying a specialism for the future
