Payroll Administrator

We have a vacancy for the above position to work in our Payroll Bureau Team, which offers payroll services to a growing number of our clients. 

Based in our Shrewsbury office, you will have full responsibility for administering and delivering payroll services to your own portfolio of clients, delivering the highest standard of service and client care at all times.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of three years working in a similar environment
  • Demonstrated capability of being able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Lives within easy travel distance of Shrewsbury office
  • Knowledge of Bright Pay or SAGE Payroll
  • Well organised and can prioritise activities
  • Ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines
  • First class standard of customer care
  • Desire and passion for working in Payroll with technical knowledge
  • Good communication skills in order to work with and relate to clients

The Role:

  • Responsible for delivering payroll services and advice to own portfolio of clients
  • Liaising with clients to answer their queries and payroll related enquiries
  • Complete work within a timely and efficient manner, against weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Present work to the highest of standards
  • Be familiar with furlough procedures, holiday calculations, maternity and parental leave
  • Ensure skills and knowledge is maintained in order to offer the highest standard of service to our clients
