Andrew Thomas joins the Agriculture team

Nov 4, 2015 | Uncategorized

We have recently welcomed Andrew Thomas as a new client manager. Andrew will specialise in working with companies in the agriculture industry.

Andrew initially completed a degree in Law, but then changed career path and joined an accountancy practice where he stayed for seven years, passing his ACA exams and qualifying as an Audit Manager.

Andrew said: “Dyke Yaxley has a great reputation in the county for supporting farming clients and a wide range of businesses working in the agricultural sector.

“I have worked with a wide range of clients over the last few years, and I now have a great opportunity to extend my experience under the guidance of some real industry experts here at such a busy and progressive firm.”

Our experts regularly attend local agricultural shows to promote our services to farmers and suppliers, and hold advice sessions aimed specifically at the agricultural sector.

We also produce a quarterly newsletter to keep agricultural clients up-to-date with how they may be affected by the latest developments in the world of tax and accounts.

Dyke Yaxley’s Managing Director Laurie Riley said Andrew’s experience and knowledge made him a welcome addition to the team.

“We are extremely proud of our large portfolio of agricultural clients and we are very pleased to have Andrew on board to strengthen our already well-respected team.

“Our excellent reputation has been hard-earned, and we believe Andrew will continue the tradition of working closely with our farming clients to ensure their businesses receive the expert advice and support they need.”

Andrew already knows the Shropshire area well as he grew up in Church Stretton and also attended Shrewsbury Sixth Form College.
