This September, our very own Aidy Key will push his endurance to the limit as he joins a team of 10 cyclists for the Steve Prescott Foundation’s Three Peaks Challenge.
Over just three days (12th–14th September 2025), the team will:
- Climb Snowdon and cycle 161 miles
- Cycle 34 miles, climb Scafell Pike, and cycle another 125 miles
- Cycle 117 miles and finish with a climb up Ben Nevis
In total, that’s three national peaks and 450 miles of cycling – all in support of two incredible causes: The Christie Cancer Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund.
The event is inspired by the legacy of Steve Prescott MBE, whose determination and spirit continue to drive the Foundation’s remarkable fundraising efforts.
Aidy, who has completed many triathlons but admits this is his biggest challenge yet, said:
“It’s a great way to put my end-of-season fitness to good use and raise money for two fantastic causes.”
