Team DY has just completed a year full of fundraising activities in support of a local charity.

Over the past 12 months, we’ve organised a whole host of events and campaigns aimed at raising as much as possible for the Shropshire Wildlife Trust.

We’re proud to announce that the total amount raised now stands at over £2,100.

Our Marketing Co-ordinator, Jackie Young, says:

“Every year we take a vote and staff choose which worthy cause they’d like us to raise funds for, and this year’s recipient was chosen as the Shropshire Wildlife Trust.

We’d like to thank all our colleagues who have thrown themselves into the sometimes crazy events and activities we’ve organised, and also everyone who has supported us so generously.

Our team is always keen to get involved, and we’re looking forward to coming up with even more imaginative ideas for the next 12 months.”

Throughout the year, Team DY took part in a Euro 2024 sweepstake, a fantasy football league, a charity gala dinner, and a 12 Days of Christmas raffle.

We also held a Halloween charity cake sale, a Christmas jumper day, a Christmas present wrapping service, and made a donation in lieu of sending corporate Christmas cards.

Additional donations were made, and we even set up a farming swear box!

Our Managing Director, Marie Bramwell, says:

“We’re delighted to have raised over £2,000 for the Shropshire Wildlife Trust, and we held a special presentation to hand over the donation.

I’m very proud of our team who really immersed themselves in this year’s campaign, and we’ll be announcing our chosen charity for the coming year soon.”
