Professional background:

Marie joined Dyke Yaxley on a student placement in 1995 and returned following her graduation, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2001. Marie was responsible for managing the Tax Department from 2001 until 2005, Operations Manager from 2005 to 2006 and Operations Director in 2006. 

In May 2019 Marie was appointed Managing Director, taking over from Laurie Riley.

Responsibilities:

Marie is responsible for a wide portfolio of clients comprising both large and small businesses. 

In Marie's Operations Director role, she directs the day-to-day development of the Operations Departments at Dyke Yaxley, ensuring that agreed policies and procedures are undertaken in line with the firm’s business objectives.

Marie also works closely with Dyke Yaxley's Practice Manager to ensure the efficient smooth-running, customer focus ethos of the firm.

Marie outside of work

Marie’s favourite hobbies include playing rounders, walking and going out for meals.

Marie’s favourite holiday destinations are Hong Kong and Bali.

Growing up, Marie wanted to be a Pharmacist.

If she wasn’t working at Dyke Yaxley, Marie would enjoy working as a Sports Coach, and is in fact a qualified Trampoline Coach.

Marie’s greatest achievements are becoming a mother to her two children and being a Director of Dyke Yaxley.

Marie's lifetime ambition is to be Managing Director of Dyke Yaxley.
