Marie Bramwell

Managing Director

Marie began her journey with DY as a student placement in 1995. After graduating, she returned to the firm and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001. She went on to lead the Tax Department from 2001 to 2005, before taking on the role of Operations Manager from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, she was promoted to Operations Director.

In May 2019, Marie was appointed Managing Director, succeeding Laurie Riley.

Marie oversees a wide-ranging portfolio of clients, supporting both large and small businesses. Alongside this, she leads the day-to-day development of the Operations department, ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented effectively and align with the firm’s overall objectives.

Marie’s favourite hobby is rounders and if she hadn’t become an Accountant, she would have liked to have been a Sports Coach.
