Professional background:

Rich has been with Dyke Yaxley since 2001 after leaving Shrewsbury Sixth Form College in 2001. In 2006, Rich passed his Diploma in Payroll Management and was promoted to Payroll Department Manager in 2015.

Rich describes the sense of satisfaction he receives at the end of each tax year to be the best part of his job and working with a great team of staff to be his favourite part of working at Dyke Yaxley.

Rich’s greatest accomplishment within the company is becoming Payroll Manager and he hopes to continue maintaining the exceptional standards set by his predecessors, taking the Department from strength to strength. 

Responsibilities:

Rich is responsible for managing the Payroll Department and provides clients with payroll support by ensuring their employees and third parties, including HMRC, are paid accurately and on time.

Rich is also responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and legislation, filing end of year returns and providing both clients and staff with Sage Payroll training.

Richard outside of work

Rich’s favourite hobbies include: Spending time with his wife, socialising with friends/family and mountain biking.

Rich’s favourite holiday destination is Cape Verde.

If Rich wasn’t working at Dyke Yaxley, he’d enjoy a career in Sports Journalism.

Rich’s life ambition is to achieve the best in everything he does.

Rich’s greatest achievement is winning the Dyke Yaxley Poker tournament in 2011.
