Keeping visitors in the picture

Fans of Shrewsbury Flower Show can now get a bird’s eye view of just how much work goes into the country’s most popular events.

Dyke Yaxley Chartered Accountants have sponsored a webcam which overlooks the site, and visitors to the live link can watch all the build-up to the show itself which takes place on August 10 and 11.

Adrian Key, IT director from the Shrewsbury-based firm, said: “This is the fifth year we have sponsored a webcam and each year the link has become increasingly popular.

“The show has a substantial build-up period and the webcam gives people the chance to view the changing landscape of The Quarry as the show weekend approaches.”

As well as the web camera, the Dyke Yaxley team has also supplied the IT infrastructure to support it.

The IT team provides technical support not only for Dyke Yaxley, but also for external clients too, helping them to maximise the benefits of the very latest technology.

Over half the team are trained accountants and their skills combined with their knowledge of the IT industry means they can focus on a client’s systems while the client focuses on running their business.

Their services mean the client can operate without any external IT staff and the Dyke Yaxley guaranteed response times mean expert support is always available.
