Say hello, wave goodbye!

We are sadly saying goodbye to a well-known stalwart after 25 years’ service – but his replacement is already a familiar face.

Chris Dorricott has worked for us since leaving school in 1989, and has spent the past 13 years as Manager of our high-profile Payroll Department.

But now he’s moving to Hong Kong with his young family, to teach English as a foreign language in a local primary school.

“I’m very sad to be leaving Dyke Yaxley as it’s been such a big part of my life, and I’ve made many great friends here. But my wife, Maple, is from Hong Kong, and so we’ve decided to start a new chapter over there with our young children.”

Managing Director, Laurie Riley, said: “Chris has such a friendly and outgoing personality, and he’s always been very passionate about his work, going the extra mile to deliver excellent service. He will definitely be missed by everyone here at Dyke Yaxley.”

Stepping into Chris’ shoes will be Rich Morris, who is already a familiar face having worked for Dyke Yaxley for the past 14 years.

Rich specialises in a wide range of areas including all aspects of payroll processing and legislation, filing end of year returns, auto enrolment, HMRC compliance, and providing Sage payroll training for clients and staff.

“I’m very proud to be taking on the role of Payroll Department Manager and I’m looking forward to the challenge of leading the team into the future,” said Rich. “My aim will be to ensure our clients always receive first class service and that their employees and other organisations are paid accurately and on time, every time.

“It’s an incredibly busy area of the business, and we’re constantly working hard to make sure we continuously develop our skills and knowledge to keep up with the ever-changing rules and regulations. This is a great opportunity for me to step up and lead my colleagues, and to enhance the already strong reputation of our department right across the local area and beyond.”
